Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: January 5, 2026
We are committed to providing a safe, lawful, and professional environment for developers, designers, and QA professionals. This policy describes the standards of conduct for using our screenshot rendering services. It applies to all URL submissions and digital outputs.
This policy forms part of the Terms of Service and works alongside our Privacy Policy and DMCA Policy.
1. Scope and Baseline
This policy covers all web rendering activities performed through or on the Services. If a submission violates the law, our Terms, or the integrity of our platform, it is prohibited.
2. Prohibited Activities and Content
To maintain a professional environment and comply with financial safety standards, users must not submit URLs or generate captures in the following categories:
- Exploitation of Minors: Any use of the rendering engine to facilitate the exploitation of persons under 18. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
- Sensitive Private Data: Use of the service to capture login screens, banking portals, medical records, or any page containing Personally Identifiable Information (PII) without authorization.
- Unauthorized Surveillance: Using the service for automated monitoring or “stalking” of private individuals or private social media profiles.
- Security Evasion: Attempts to use our rendering engine to bypass paywalls, security headers (CORS), or access restricted “deep web” content.
- Deceptive Use (Phishing): Capturing screenshots of legitimate websites for the purpose of creating deceptive “clone” sites or phishing materials.
- Hate and Harassment: Content that incites violence or targets individuals with severe harassment.
- Illegal Activity: Content that facilitates or instructs illegal acts, including fraud or phishing.
- Intellectual Property Infringement: Use of the service to infringe on the copyrights or trademarks of others.
3. User Responsibility
You are responsible for the URLs you provide and the captures you generate. You must ensure your use of the Services complies with this policy and applicable local and international laws. You represent that you have the right to access and capture the visual content of the URLs you submit.
4. Technical Constraints and Moderation
We use automated domain filtering and technical safeguards to ensure compliance. We blacklisted certain categories of websites (e.g., high-risk financial institutions and government portals) to prevent misuse. We may remove content, restrict features, or terminate accounts for violations of this policy. We retain necessary technical logs for safety and fraud prevention, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
5. Mandatory Reporting
Known instances of CSAM will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or appropriate local authorities. We cooperate fully with lawful investigations.
6. Appeals and Termination
If you believe an account restriction was made in error (e.g., a legitimate domain was mistakenly filtered), you may contact us for review. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access without notice if we believe a violation poses a risk to the safety or integrity of our Services.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically to reflect changes in safety standards or legal requirements.
8. Contact
To report a violation of this policy or request clarification, please contact us at [email protected].
